About us — Intā

About us

Intā is an invitation to slow down, rewild & honour our senses

Intā is a quiet, welcoming space in the heart of Antwerp where people come to remember their connection to the living world,
through the body, through breath, and through beauty.

We believe Nature is not something “out there.”
It’s in our rhythms, our skin, our sleep, our cycles. It’s in the cracks on the sidewalk, the stillness of a winter branch, the pulse of your breath.

At Intā, we create spaces to return to that knowing.

Our intention is to offer a myriad of ways to explore our relationship with nature
— which we are, which surrounds us and which resides within each of us.

Why we exist

In a fast-moving, overstimulating world, many of us feel disconnected, from our bodies, from each other, from the Earth.

Intā was born from the belief that we don’t need to escape the city to feel connected to nature or to ourselves. We need spaces that help us remember, in our breath, our bodies, in the quiet noticing of shadow, light, and stone. Antwerp, with its parks, river paths, and hidden textures, already holds the seeds of reconnection.

Intā simply creates a space to notice, to feel, to return.
We don’t aim to fix or perfect.
We hold space for people to soften, to reattune, to listen again.

As a small and vibrant city, Antwerp allows for intimacy, slowness, and word-of-mouth connection. Intā offers its people practices that nourish not just the individual nervous system, but the social and ecological nervous system of the city itself. Through gentle movement, creativity, and attunement, we invite people to move differently in their homes, on their streets, and in their lives.

In a city known for aesthetics, Intā offers a different kind of beauty. One rooted in presence, reverence, and the quiet power of simplicity.
By making slowness visible, we become part of shaping a more regenerative, attentive urban future.

We love all things:

raw,

imperfect,

wonky,

authentic,

tactile,

organic,

folk,

vernacular,

deep,

simple,

textured,

natural...

yet deeply human.

We love all things: raw, imperfect, wonky, authentic, tactile, organic, folk, vernacular, deep, simple, textured, natural... yet deeply human.

Who it is for

Intā is open to all. We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and life paths.
You don’t need to be flexible, spiritual, or experienced, only willing to slow down and reconnect.

We offer tiered pricing and keep our events small, so our space remains intimate, accessible, and deeply held.

This is for the artists, parents, healers, seekers, and the quietly curious. It’s for anyone longing for a more grounded, connected way of living.

Intā has multicultural roots and meanings

The ones we resonated with the most invoke the idea of collecting, observing, creating and interacting with Nature in all it forms, in order to remember and reawaken our own inner Nature, with respect for our intrinsic particularities, and a reverence for the deep connection that we share, both sacred & mundane

A few things we believe…

We are nature
Beauty is a form of care
The body is a gateway
Slowness is a form of resistance
Every space can become sacred
